Hello MOG Members
A number of jobs to do over the Winter months. I have been looking at the Dashboard forum tonight and i figured this Winter i would like to change the Speedo and Dial which incorporates the Water temp, Oil, Volts and Fuel. Both dial our the original Smith dials. Just change them over. As mentioned in the Dashboard forum, when you have the tonneau cover fitted it's quite hard to see the speed. Is this possible? If it is, it it a easy job?
As normal many thanks for your help in this matter.

I've thought about this myself - the only real issue is ensuring the wiring/cables/capillary tubes are long enough to swap positions.
None of it insurmountable, especially if you are doing it over a period of time so can get longer tubes and extend the wiring if needed.

I don't know about the '76 model but for later models the wiring loom is the same for both RHD and LHD cars. Several people have swapped the instruments in the last series of pre-CX trads.
My feeling is that it should be possible and fairly easy to do.
