Hello all, Occasionally my speedo stops reading or is slow to respond or the odometer is blank or a combination of the above. I would like to check the dashboard multi-connector to see if there’s a poor connection. Does anyone know where it is please? Thanks

There appear to be two 13 way dashboard connectors Guten. Drop the dash with battery disconnected and they should be easy to see. The one you are looking for has speedo signal wire yellow/pink and equivalent tacho wire white/black. The power and ground, green and black they share.
The symptoms you describe sound like a fault at the speedo itself but no harm checking connector.

As a follow up to this I have been having a look inand to this a bit more I think the symptom is pretty much as described in many other posts on here caused by damp but it's getting worse. As Richard said above the odometer reading failure is most likely internal as the reading is stored internally, it may help to clean the ribbon cable connector and if a hair dryer doesn't work (it's MOT time) I may try that and to that end I found the post below from IVO with a youtube link to a video explaining how to do this
