Car pricing - we are called Treasure Island after all. This summer the amicable Skoda Fabia in Slovenia, bottom of the range was advertised nationally at €13,900. At 1.20 euros to the pound, my maths says that is £ 11,600 . Just look at U.K. price for this little beauty ! Are Morgan’s the same cost in Europe in euros as UK pricing??
Clipper - After two visits to to the Campervan show, 23 & 22 and after each, we say, never again by car. This year we were not going, not that I can walk round such a big exhibition.
Please don’t tell me the exit on the M42 into the NEC , after 3 plus years of road works has still not been completed.
The NEC sadly now feels third world due to this nonsense , with ridiculous old fashioned entry lanes, stupid parking issues and poor transport into the halls. Getting irregular buses in winter from car parks……! Was the travelator on the skyway working.?
Last time I was there for a garment show we had free parking…..great but on leaving the car park they had the barrier down, stopped every car and asked if we had free parking as they mixed free parkers at one show with those who had to pay. Numb nuts ! Took an hour plus to get to the motorway.
I guess I expect too much these days and if and when you get it, you are amazed. Michael
