In replacing my Avon tires on my Roadster, I checked around to see what tires other Roadster owners are using. Michelin Primacy tires seemed to be the most popular ones. I had reservations since these don't seem to be for sports cars in particular.
However, now that they are on the car I think they are terrific. They are definitely an improvement over the Avons, in my opinion.
I live in South Carolina. I am curious if the Michelins are popular in England?

You don't say what wheel rim options your Roadster has Don but if they are 16 inch you have greater tyre choice. I recently fitted a set of 205/55/R16 Continental Premium Contact 7 tyres to my 3.7 Roadster independently rated currently as one of the best in class for wet and dry grip. Not surprisingly very pleased with the results being no comparison to the now outdated Avon ZV7 fitted as OE which hardened so much in six years I was getting wheel spin in a straight line at the slightest sign of road dampness. Comparison with latest Michelin Primacy 4+ here.

What kind for the roadster 3.7 with 15' wheels?
Thx 6.5 x 15 inch wires were the type approved no cost option on the Roadster 3.7 with 205/65R15 tyres. 5 stud alloy rims of same size but slightly greater offset were an option with 205/60R15 tyres. Finally there was a 7 x 16 inch stainless wire option with same offset as alloys using 205/55R16 tyres to maintain similar rolling radius.
