Susie’s grandson spent a period on the RSS David Attenborough. It was during his time when he was training to become a Merchant Navy Officer. Whilst onboard the ship, he did a trip to the Antarctic.
As a result of his connection, and after much security clearance, Susie and I were given a conducted tour of the ship, when it was moored at Harwich. Fascinating, but much of it classified!

She’s a bit of an ugly duck and not improving with age😂 I’m down your way right now but no time to detour for a look, I’m on the train from Bury to Cambridge and what a surprisingly pleasant experience this is.
