The drivers side washer stopped working and gave me a wet leg. I suspect that the tube has become detached from the spray. Can it be reattached without removing the dashboard?. If not how do I remove the dashboard? 2008 plus 4 duratec wood dash

No in a word - disconnect the battery and drop the dash forward, there is a plastic undertray with the dash light dimmer on also to remove. Firstly though order up some silicone replacement tubing from Holden or your local pet shop, the aquarium tubing works well. The MMC liquorice tubing is just that melts away in time, it can be a very expensive fail if the electronics board gets a shower.

And use cable ties at the end of the tubes, as additives in the water bottle over time go gooey and can force the tubes off the T piece etc, when under pressure when using the washer

Don't worry just take a few pictures of the rear incase a wire becomes dislodged - always help on here with similar models.
Drop the steering column down to minimum and put a soft cloth on the steering cowl is a good move too.
Good luck.

It's really not that challenging a job if you follow the tips above, I've done it 3 times now. Once was to replace the screen wash tubes, once to sort the heater quadrant, and once to tighten the nuts that keep the penny washers tight up against the screen frame/bolts (which weren't tight and were rattling). Why the wiring is so short is beyond me, just an inch or so extra would make removal a whole lot easier. Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but when you are dropping the dash do it with the doors carefully propped open, or you may end up poking the corners of the dash into the door trims. The most time consuming job was finding the tiny black screws that keep the under-tray in place, and which have a magnetic attraction to floor carpet......

After removing the lower panel.......................... Should have three screws. One either end, one tucked up high in the middle. Some have four. Take the screws out. Drop the steering column, and tug the dashboard. It rotates out from the top, and the glove box may be a tight fit, but it's easy enough. You will see this................ ignore the black leather, that's a modification. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2019/11/17/P1050419.jpg) Those black tubes are flimsy with really flimsy clips. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2019/11/17/P1050420.jpg) And done..............with new T piece Blue paper towel to catch the drips. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2019/11/17/P1050421.jpg)
