My 22 car doesn't have a sound system but removing the rear panel shows the wiring. I have sourced from a breakers in Poole a system from a 20 car.
Can anyone help with photos or descriptions of where the bluetooth streamer , volume control and associated wiring go/ can be found
I can find anything obvious and before I start taking the front appart would hope someone can help.

John, I'm not certain but the current bluetooth reciever may be one of these bluebird The amp is a Kenwood kac-m1814

The streamer is from simple and the amp is the earlier 1804. Here is what I bought

So four speakers. the streamer is hidden in the panel above the passengers right knee. (tried to reply earlier, post never appeared) I hardwired to the volume control via a phono to mini jack. then an adapter for music & usb charging. subsequently replaced with a quad lock mag charger (for charging)& music out via the bottom connector. I prefer the volume control rather that using iPhone buttons. streamer wasnt very good. I had the Kenwood system ripped out as it was pretty poor. .. depends how much you enjoy your tunes I suppose.
I started removing/loosening the panels under the dash from where the door hinge is .. fairly straightforward.
