What about a sort of open flame fag lighter that heats the bottom of the alloy wheel, by the time it reaches 10 and 2 it's just the right temp, but don't grab 6

I have 3 types of gloves from Dents

Summer leather open back perforated gloves

A full leather unlined pair with touchscreen so I can keep them on and use my phone

But my main pair for Winter are leather with a wool lining and they are brilliantly warm but back in 2014 when I bought them I don’t think Dents had them with touchscreen. I think they do now though

Dents have their own website with lots of colours and types and give good advice on how to size them correctly

I was thinking of using my "WindStopper" golf gloves; they came as a pair (left and right, rather than just one hand for a normal golf glove), they provide the feel needed and they grip well. Never used them in a 70mph gale though ...
