What better way to get freezing cold could there be than washing a jet first thing on a Sunday!

The poor thing has a green tinge and was in dire need of a spruce up. It’s privately owned so not part of any Remembrance Day ceremonies but still, a good day to focus on our military history.

This particular jet is a record holder. as far as I know, the record is unsurpassed to this day.

The Lightning was a triumph of British design and beyond cutting edge. There are You tube clips about the spyplane and Concorde interceptions.

Is that Score's private Air-Force? ... a famous plane as you say ... great job you two!

That’s the one Keith, we don’t do “tacky” company jets in the NE, but the faster the better, it’ll be quicker now it’s clean!

Landy has been faultless Rich, after I warmed up , I went to the woods to spray herbicide at the stems of my Larch saplings, they’re struggling to out grow the grass and weeds.

For some extra pictures, we also shot blasted the chassis of the Eclat and picked up a second scrap Eclat for spares recently.

I should really take the Morgan out for a trip before they salt the roads, maybe next weekend if I can spare the the time😂

Made a nice job of that chassis ... looks sound as a pound .... have always meant to take a look at that plane ... can you just stroll down their entrance road or do you need to make an appointment? ... will have to pop by for a gossip sometime soon.

The chassis condition is better than expected, although the fit and finish was rubbish, the Lotus chassis is a clever design.

The donor car chassis is probably fine as well so when we get the chance we’ll blast that too, it’ll make a nice ornament.
