A lot of snow this morning but three degrees so it only took s a few hours to change all in mud.

Many years I visited the "Savalen Rally" for bikes in Norway.
Its was january and I compared my CX500 with sidecar (off-road tyres with studs) with an identical vehicle with modern winter tyres.
Since then, I have also been driving winter tyres on my dayly driver. Changing the tyres is regularly scheduled.
However, the winter tyres have been on the dayly driver since last October - a new car is due to be delivered this month.

Let's see which car we'll use to visit the many Christmas markets here in the neighbourhood and as far away as Denmark.

Now comes the time when I enjoy being able to start my auxiliary heating remotely with smartphone/ app.

So day 1 of snow coming to a close and indeed it’s been disproportionately disruptive. The schools are all closed, the bins haven’t been collected, the trains ran late, roads have been closed and everywhere is filthy! Apparently we’ve got this for the rest of the week.

The Audi Quattro will be called into service tomorrow!

Snow has reached us in Ceredigion today….

Ruut, the Christmas market doesn't start here in Villingen until December 1st this year.
And as far as my tires are concerned, I'm not fully compliant with the law. I drive the Morgan with summer tires even in winter. But I only drive when the roads are dry.

No snow here at lunchtime. Though the xmas decorations were put up today. I'm not looking forward to flying home.
