As in my opening to the thread I would jump at a hybrid version, I am old chool and not yet ready for EV.
But tbh if someone rocked up on my doorstep with an EV Duck for 25k I'd take their hand off There is something emotional about those cars like Morgan's in some ways, my wife absolutely loved driving our Ami 8 in Germany and throughout Europe on up to Oslo and it didn't bother her a bit it being RHD.
We both still miss it at times, character is the word

Those Meharis are conversions of originals Rich. The e-Mehari was a totally new concept car, didn't look much like the original, except for being very open. The original concept was as a weekend "style / fun" car. Meharis (whether converted or not) fetch silly money nowadays.
