After a very wet summer and grimey Autumn I decided to give the roof a bit of Renovo magic . I normally clean with some f airy liquid and a dash of fabtic conditioner but got myself a bit of a bargain at a local car show. The complete kit for twenty five quid, the owner was too afraid to use it after purchase. Having done the four seater in black and the green roof on the Aero the blue on the plus 6 was going to be a new experience. I must say it looks like new the white marks you seem to get in the folds on the blue roofs have completely gone but I did drop some dye on the cream leather, fortunately it came off without leaving a mark. The trouble now is it looks so good it shows up the scratches on the rear screen, now that's a real messy job for another day and nearly all on the inside done bye the very low mileage previous owner. It was always a source of amusement to my neighbour when I would be masking up the glass of usually a Mercedes Cabriolet to clean and reproof the roof every few years. Always a daunting prospect especially for the first time, but well worth it once the final result becomes clear.

Renovo is something quite extraordinary. For something so runny, and seeminly light, the pigment does the job amazingly well. I used it to convert my creamy beige weatherworn hood interior into black, which looks like new. And that only took two coats, although being inside it's a fiddle.
