I'd be interested to know what they use for underbody protection I wonder if it's that gloop made from rendered down sheep, my neighbours just done his and said it smells quite unpleasant & will revert to waxoil next year On a CX ?

7c with no real wind and dry.Yesterdays rain had washed the salt away so I went for a spin after fitting the new air filter. Total bliss driving to the sea front & back in Felixstowe. The CX heater isn't as good as the trad but with the tonneau over the passenger seat I was toasty warm.

Weather not conducive to photos (cold, dull and rainy), but full winter check complete (which was really only because the Six had likely been laid up for a long time before I acquired it) and underseal completed:
"Performed comprehensive undersealing on the Morgan Plus Six to provide optimal protection against rust and corrosion. The underbody was thoroughly cleaned, followed by the application of high-quality Lanoguard, a natural, environmentally rust inhibitor. This treatment ensures long-lasting protection for the vehicle's undercarriage, helping to maintain its integrity and appearance, especially in harsh weather conditions."
So I'd better go out and find some harsh weather, then!
I also had my Phoenix Design Services wing mirrors fitted, a massive improvement.
The one item which didn't get fully fixed was the gale that blows through the doors at motorway speeds; the O/S door catch was found to be "loose" and "tighten back up and door closed closer to body", but hasn't really made a difference. That's a warranty item which I'll add to the MMC job sheet in March when she gets her first full service.

So, it is the sheep stuff then, you can check by popping into the garage, shout "mint sauce!" and if the Mog twitches, job's a gud 'un

My good lady sent me to get some sparkling water. The Morgan was in the front of the garage and I was too lazy to change vehicles.
