I was speaking with a BMW M series owner yesterday, and he asked if the Plus Six had "launch control", I said I hadn't heard of it, and doubted it would.
He's now sent me the instructions on how it is controlled on his BMW. Unless anyone knows differently, and I still doubt the Mog has this, I will find a long-straight-dry-well made road and try it out.
"Put car in sport plus
Press traction control one time (goes to sport traction)
Move shifter over towards you (m/s position)
Brake to the floor
Gas to the floor (you'll feel a little click)
Says launch activated at bottom of the dash. You have 3 seconds to release the brake and fly!
Don't forget to put the silly grin on your face"

Well that sounds like a ditch visit coming up 😆 as many others did at LAUNCH time ! No end of them suffered this fate if you care to check some earlier threads. Here is one example !FWIW I think you sound more like a BMW driver than a Morgan driver

Won't it just spin one rear wheel? or do they have LSD now? Or maybe the antilock might kick in.

This Dutch demonstration car was one of the most absurd accidents involving a Plus Six. How had it managed to lose the entire front axle...
A long-straight-dry-well made road without trees at the side of the road could really be helpful to try it out.

Thanks for the informed insight  No, I'm not a BMW driver, nor do I wish to be; but it's just interesting that given the hardware that the CX now incorporates, has it been fully explored? I'll let you know where to pick up my salvage ...

I would not try to do that with my plus 2020 plus four and certainly not with a plus six. Even as the plus six has an ESP.
