I thought I had read somewhere some comments about the Librands Foot Locker but a search has not revealed anything.

Has anyone fitted a Librands Foot Locker? And if so do you find it useful?

At £159 plus VAT and delivery it is not cheap and, judging by the photos, can hold little more than the car's documents and a camera and/or navigator. I was seriously thinking about fitting one but I am now having second thoughts. One would normally want to carry passports and the camera, not leave them in the car, and the navigator can be carried or hidden out of sight in some way.

Peter,
This is what I did -- cost a few quid and a bit of time working out the pattern. Just made from sheet aluminium and some stainless fittings. Holds the sat nav and could hold more, but, like you I always carry my Passport with me!

Cheers!

I have fitted the Foot locker its very easy to fit .My wife is very short so it stops her from sliding down the foot well when braking hard...!!!gives her something to push against..it makes a great foot rest.
No one would expect it to be there so a handy place to put the odd item for security...I have lined it with some sound proofing and use it to store my hand tools and emergency bits and bobs..Insulating tape, wire bulbs etc..
Not easy to get at in a hurry though head first down the foot well trying to unlock it..
