What's up with THE SHOUTING!?

Seriously, some people on here do have Max's, but the M3W gets loads of interest because it's new and because it's within the budget of idiots like me. The Max isn't a new product and although I consider it the finest looking of all the new ones (including the new SS Coupe), it's pretty much a dead subject for people like me, and I think that for most people owning one, they don't post unless they just bought it or have questions/problems.

Or maybe it's just me, lol.

Hi Dean,

I don't know if you realise, but web etiquette is that typing in capitals is regarded as shouting. Not really the best way to start a thread or a conversation!

I think that probably the best way to get involved and to get the other members involved with your 'Max is to post maybe your extended driving impressions and how you think it compares with other cars in your fleet/or that you have owned in the past? Also, don't forget that the Aero 8's and the Aero SS owners have cars with basically the same running gear as the 'Max and thus you are part of a wider group too. smile

There were 100+ 'Maxes sold, the M3W has orders approaching 1000, and how many Trad's are there out there? They sell about 600 a year! You will always have a minority car and I would have thought that is part of the attraction?

I think TM is a very friendly site, but like most things in life you get out what you put in. Over to you Dean and I look forward to contributing to your next thread. HTH.

Cheers wine flag

Hi Dean:)
One if the elusive gang here. I do post pretty regularly on the site, but about all things Morgan, not just the Aeromax.

Have a search on here for a few aeromax threads - might be something you can add. As Brian mentioned - tell us about your car snd what you think. Would live to know the history if chassis 33 - who specced it originally - why the blue (looks amazing) where has it been in it's life and where do you plan to take it?

Not driven mine since my first child arrived in November, but I am sure it will be out again as the weather improves and the sleep deprivation becomes something I am used to!

The Max is my 4th Aero, and it drives very much the same as my Series 4, but does feel a bit more solid / composed.

Have to say originally I couldn't see the logic in swapping from convertible to coupe, and paying a whole load extra! I think the shape, and a drive up the hill at Goodwood in a max courtesy of MMC in 2010 made me feel it would be worth it one day.

Then - when the opportunity arose, several folks on this site helped me out with the man maths. Thanks guys!

How are you getting on with yours, what did you drive before and how does it compare?

Dont bank on it a +8 owner I know went to his mothers everyday for some sleep ( only for 5 year ) My daughter had me on the bottom with lack of sleep , one rep burst out laughing then asked for my order pad to copy , he was not to happy when I told him to ? Off he said thats not funny my reply was about as funny as you laughing at me being very very tired ,he never did it again . So you might as well give your mog to me for a few years I will keep it clean. flyingpig thumbs
