I have just purchased a Plus Six Pinnacle, very pleased with it, but when the heated windscreen is turned on, the vision through the windscreen becomes distorted, this is very apparent when driving at night with lights coming towards you. Has anyone else with a heated windscreen had this problem? I have reported the isuue to the dealer, but not heard back as yet.

I've never seen distortion with demist activated on my trads. How does this look Nick? Is it sort of bullseyel, and wavy?
I don't know if CX screens are thinner than Trad screens, but distortion suggests uneven heating of the glass, but it doesn't sound likely? Maybe the inner plastic layer is causing this?

Enjoy your new Pinnacle!
There was a lovely one in the showroom at the factory, when last I visited. It was a deep gold/grey/copper colour with a lovely pebble coloured interior. Not a colour scheme I would have chosen but really suited the car.
As the others have said, I've not experienced that phenomenon with any heated screen I have had. I wonder if there are two pieces (perhaps more) that make up the screen and, perhaps as Dave mentioned, that is causing there to be a layer of condensation between them when the element is used?

Does it distort when you're stationary or/and when you're moving? And do you mean wavy or?

Do you wear glasses to drive?
I've had problems with some Reactolite ones giving a sort of double image of bright LED lights at night
