Hate to admit I did not know Jagger had a plus 8 (or I forgot) and never seen the above pic . I also loved her gravelly voice .
The Ballad of Lucy Jordan, means so much to me as we have fond memories re the Paris lyrics . On the night of the Brixton riots ,way back in 1980(?) I had to drive the +8 to Paris to collect my then newish girlfriend . I drove close by the riots that night and on to a late ferry and drove through the night , My girlfriend, now still my current wife, was in charge of a group of competition winners, one of those all expense paid bashes. Picked her up, enjoyed Paris for a few days - all very special .
Just played the track………wow great and feel great. RIP you icon of the 60 + MM
PS I don’t think we will ever drive through Paris again with warm wind blowing etc ……climate restrictions might mean we have to park & ride . Ho Ho those lyrics won’t stand the test of time !!!
PPS We both still have hair though .

A Mars a day helps you work , rest & play.  That was truly below the belt. It sure was but sold Mars Bars like hot cakes as I recall  she was way ahead of her time for women of the day in most areas.
