It's been a lovely run today roof down all day. But for the first time ever some bar steward reached into the Mog and nicked my driving gloves. We were parked in full sight of the car having a bit of lunch in ST David's of all places. I must start listening to the wife a bit more she did tell me to put the roof up. Don't you just hate it when they say I told you so......Em

That's a bugger and most unusual.

I've never experienced it in 21 years of topless Morganing.

While touring in the UK with the whole family in a four-seater, we lost a child size aviation leather jacket when parked with the roof up. We saw the thieves running as we returned to the car, a few seconds too late.

If I'm parking up anywhere during the day, or overnight, I tend to keep the tonneau cover on, keeps prying eyes away. We both have Belstaffs (mine is 30 years old, hers is much newer) - they're not stupidly expensive, but still wouldn't want to fork out on replacements. If we leave them in the car, I stick them both in a drysac, and then in a pacsafe which is locked to the seat.

Half term in wales lots of people about but it was a private car park. Totally my fault draped over the gear leaver. The thing is I always lock the tin top but not the mog and I know many who do the same. In the grand scheme of things it's a very cheap wake up call.

Sorry to hear that. We usually pull over the tonneau

Sad to hear, some people are opportunists and will nick anything if it’s not bolted down.

This is a good reminder for me to take the tonneau cover to the sailmaker to be recommissioned -I have never used it . Like others here I always lock my tintop but leave the Morgan open .... sometimes just pulling the storm cover over as rain is always possible in Auckland.
