Various stories have been discussed here that may have overlapped somewhat. The launch of the Supersport doesn't have that much to do with it in my perception. In my view, it is a very successful move in the right direction, very well thought out and with great attention to detail. That's what this is all about to me, and others may have a different view of the car than I do. That's quite normal, an open discussion and not a destructive criticism. That's why I'm confident that this thread is in good waters.

Goodness it appears that things got a little shouty after I left the bar and strolled off home to bed, I am sure that after a good nights sleep all will be friends again -after all we are all Morgan fans of some stripe or other, furthermore we all welcome this new model . I recall a well travelled Ozmog member who was determined that the Aero range were not 'real' Morgans , but we smiled and let him have his opinion as after lots of Plus 8 fun he had got stuck with an unmodified 2012 M3W. Without the Aero series I would not have met such an interesting and diverse group of owners around the world , and these new models will add to the mix, much as the latest Porsche and the early air cooled all have their fans. Stick with us you early adopters and keep us updated on your adventures, just because we are not lining up behind you with deposits doesnt mean we are the enemy. Peace will reign

Delighted to see many of you appreciating the car and others coming around to it. I love it. Curious though perhaps unsurprised about the negativity from some quarters. Have had a read through the totality of the comment thread here and on some of the fb groups and thought a bit about some of the objections and negativity... I thought I might offer a counter in the nature of some perspective to these criticisms?
Some people don’t know a good thing when it’s staring them in the face.
It’s 2025.
Morgan has just launched a brand new 1170kg sports car with 335hp hand built to exacting artisanal standards here in the UK by expert craftsmen.
It's inarguably and evidently a Morgan, louvers or not.
It doesn't have windows that go up and down with a button (it's more traditional than the Aero).
Morgan say explicitly they think it will go toe to toe in comparison drives with Porsche and Aston.
They will build 200 a year.
Outside of a club meet or lucky chance encounter how many are you likely to see here on UK roads vs Astons or 911s?
You can go and buy one and have one of the rarest modern production cars on the market.
There are no nagging driving aids.
It is the safest car they've ever made.
You can have it literally in any configuration you can imagine.
You can spec every single option and it will cost 30k less than a base Vantage.
In base spec it costs the same as a base spec 911.
You can watch it be made.
You can talk to the people making it.
It’s 2025.
Morgan have done something extraordinary here. If you love cars, Morgan, or driving, and the very fact the Supersport exists doesn’t make you grin from ear to ear, I think you need a reality check. That all sounds very good. Build quality and reliability will be key NO more radiator issues of the CX or the rubbish build quality of the early M3W

I was going to ask as to whether anybody knows whether the PLus Six radiator issues have been finally sorted A Plus Six owning friend of mine was on his 5th radiator when I saw him last in November!

Blimey, you have to keep on top of things on this forum for sure.Just popped on to see who else dislikes the gear lever Morgan have been fitting for the last six years( not me bye the way) only to find one new adopter has bailed. Time for a white flag or a 30 day ceasefire for a bit of r and r I think. Whatever Morgan we drive you need a thick skin and a pair of rose tints. Em

Thought I had an avoided the dreaded rad blight but told it was leaking at the last service and required a replacement.
MMC were still footing the bill long after standard warranty had expired or it would have been £1k+
Must have caused the bean counters sleepless nights.
