Hmm! To be honest, I didn’t buy two Plus 4’s, an Aero 5, and a plus 6 based on their handling dynamics.

Unlikely to buy a Supersport based on this technical feature either.

It's funny the older we get we can see through the bul...t much quicker.

The black letterboxes on that Vid above look better than the silver ones I saw.

It does seem that car manufacturers have now reached a situation where they are happy to build cars which they think we want, rather than what we actually do want. Jaguar is leading the charge to extinction, but some others are close behind.

I'm taking my Golf (Mk6) in for a service on Monday and got an e-mail asking me if, while I was there, would I like a valuation for part exchanging? My response was very simple. VW don't build anything I want to buy. I don't want an EV. I don't want an SUV. I don't want an auto or DSG. I'm lukewarm about touch screens. I don't want an electric hanbrake.

That doesn't leave much choice. Son in Law just bought an ultra low mileage LWB Audi A8 W12. Good on him I say. It's not for me, being big and auto gearbox, but what a lot of car for the money.

Which just published a survey on the switching off of a lot of the systems on modern cars. Owners found the warning beeps and car responses annoying. About 40% said they did this for lane assist, speed , collision avoidance and other such systems.
I just changed the Kia to a new version of the previous model. There are more such systems in this car. I turned down the volume of a couple of audio beeps. Yesterday the collision avoidance warning flashed up, due to camera being obscured, put wipers on and it cleared. I'll be using cruise control later so will see how that goes. It has an intelligent (?) speed adjustment so that's one to learn about. The car is an MHEV with small 48V battery. It drives like a petrol ICE. It appears the battery enhances performance rather than the car switching methods. At the dealer's he said it was the norm to manage EV quotas as laid out by Gov policy.
As there was a good deal available I compared cost of buying the previous car ( balloon value) versus new PCP. Hardly any difference so went for a new car. Free RAC cover for year 1 and £15 refund from insurer, service plan included.

Likewise that rear quarter shot is a winner with the soft top.

A pair of rectanglar spots would look way better at the front than those weird slots.

It's the current dead eye look of all the newer CX platforms that I really can't stand . I wonder if there is some kind of heatproof mask that can be fitted to make them look like something of this world.

The silly slots I could live with.

Those LED headlamps look like "dead eyes" to me in the pics above - a bit empty and soulless.
Don't get me wrong - I like the car and the way Morgans heading - just a few small design cues that look about off, others are spot on

I find it interesting that MMC put a LHD car in the glasshouse; perhaps all the RHD ones are off to the UK distributors, I saw two being driven toward the exit gates first thing on Monday last week when I was dropping my Six off for a service.
