There was a kitcar called the Moss Mamba that was based around this model. They also did the Moss Malvern (obvious what that was based on) and the Moss Monaco which I always fancied.

The writer of the article JHSII and Bill must have in their time been important ambassadors for the MMC. I have been told that in years past as the UK market shrunk, that t`was the American demand that helped maintain Morgan sales...? Also that it was a chance discovery of a US boat shed visit by a Rover management type, where he spotted the Buick engine that eventually found it`s way into the +8, and as an aside, many rover vehicles too.. (-:

George, thanks for that most interesting, a bit sad that the 25% has Trumped the launch of the Plus Four out there the timing is bad for MMC.

Richard, yes indeed a great pity...
Seemingly back in the sixties it may have been our American cousins that played a part in the continuing survival of the MMC, they did not have the interweb back then, and influencers such as Harry`s Garage vids, which are no doubt viewed world wide, will hopefully attract the old and new generation alike to appreciate the enjoyment that Morgan ownership can provide..?
