Hello everybody!

My name is Alex, I'm from Austria and will be a new proud Morgan owner in April.
After years of telling my wife that every proper household needs a proper british car I convinced her last June. I had distilled it down to two possibilities:
A soft top Series II Landy or a Morgan. After a test drive in the Landy she was -well- "not amused". Then we rented a Morgan from our austrian dealer and suddenly my darling was excited. Been there, done that, ordered one!

So we are awaiting following car:
Morgan 4/4
sports ivory
saddle brown leather

with following options:
brown bonnet strap
luggage rack
Moto Lita wooden steering wheel incl. the retro design wiper/indicator unit

Build must begin soon I hope. I was offered a delivery slot in January but that's sort of senseless here in Austria, so I still have to wait two months. gloomy
Pictures will follow in time.

Thanks,
Alex.

Welcome to the forum Alex.
April seems to be a sensible month you take delivery of your 4/4.
All the salt will have gone from the roads.
I bet you cannot wait.

Welcome Alex.

For the same reason as you we decided to take delivery on the 20th of March. Hopefully the salt will be gone by then and we will hope we don't get a late snow fall for the drive home from Malvern. I hope it rains between now and then to wash away the salt - the lake is very low due to lack of rain in our area and unlike other parts of Italy we have had very little snow.

The Sports Ivory with Saddle Brown looks fantastic. It was a very difficult decision for us to decide between Saddle Brown and Mulberry. In the end Mulberry won for us but I still keep looking at Saddle Brown in the Car Creator on the Morgan site.

I'm sure that, like us, you can't wait.

Congratulations wine

Peter

Sadly the distressed leather was not available as an option for the 4/4.
I love the look of it.
To be honest I'd preferred a black paint/black leather one, but two rather convincing arguements were against that choice: swmbo and sunny...

Welcome Alex! A nice choice of colour and funnily enough I was admiring one at the factory a couple of days ago in the same combination. There was a 3W in build with the distressed leather option and whilst it looks nice I got the impression that it might continue to be distressed!

Black and black is nice as well...the 4/4 75th Anniversary looks good in it but black paint is hell to keep blemish free!
