Thank you for that Sportster, phenomenal figures.. I think you have more than enough skilled workers to cope with 200 tiny Morgan's a year it's laughable to think you didn't when NASA exists and it all feeds down and folk seem to have forgotten all about Henry Ford and Enola Gay, bigotry comes to mind people need to look at the pathetic state of UK manufacturing, we have JCB...... So Lord Bamford quietly goes about his business whilst everyone else wastes effort moaning

Interesting economic experiment seeing if tariffs work for a country adopting a protectionist policy.

Not such good news for British JCB employees though. Looks like Bamford is increasing his US operations to get round tariffs if the kit is British-built. Moving production overseas is rarely a good idea from the domestic perspective (see JLR, Dyson, Ineos, etc etc)

Yeah, surprisingly little in the UK press given that some estimates are that more than 5 million people turned out to protest.

Moving production overseas is rarely a good idea from the domestic perspective (see JLR, Dyson, Ineos, etc etc) I think the implication is that he intends to increase market share over there as opposed to reducing the workforce here, which incidentally I see growing with the invention of his hydrogen power units particularly in the EU. I hope I'm not being overly optimistic on this one but I don't imagine him wanting hydrogen power units. So a good win as also supplies more jobs to USA blue collar workers, which the Gibbon seems intent on exterminating in his new world.

Yes, that’s what I’m reading, estimates are over 5 million protesters, and about everything this administration is doing. There were over 1200 protest events across the country. I think that’s a substantial turnout.

Very little point in moving production to USA other than for domestic demand as any exported JCB's from US will inevitably face reciprocal tariffs in other markets, that wont be incurred in the same way if exported from the UK.
