A bit of good news for Morgan this morning regarding the 2030 petrol ban unless Starmer does another turn. A new petrol tin top in 2030 will probably see me out unless he taxes us all to death to make the electric switch.

They are available in the colonies, I think some of the last blocks may have come from South Africa, though in the UK for a new crossflow I would be looking at Duratecs , the 4/4 with that set up seemed to be a sweet spot .

Arwyn Ouch!! ... goes to show the last time I looked ! 😮 ... maybe if I spot a cheap one (and a type 9 box) I should grab it for future insurance ... have plenty of shed space. K

When i brought my MOG in 2001 and was a member of the Devon Crash Box Club, one of the old boys suggested that i should go to a scrap yard and buy a spare Crossflow. Unfortunately as i was getting a divorce at the time, I didn't have a place to store one. Biggest mistake since owning my MOG!
