So many idiots. Way back in the very early 80's our next door neighbour took his Renault camping to Newquay. He parked on a road "liable to flooding", because it hadn't rained for a few days. After a beach day with his kids, they got back to find that the local farmer had dragged the Renault out of the sea at high tide. The water was up to the seat bases. It must have been quite unpleasant with a soaked car and sleeping in a tent. However he got it home OK, dried it out and traded it in.
