That's it Richard, upset me with the second one I have the original film on DVD, plus the book "Self Preservation Society" (a good read for fans of the film). I also have the follow up film (using BMW MINIs), but it's not a patch on the original.

That opening scene Graham will never be bettered in my opinion, it has it all. I understand it being upsetting though with the knowledge that we shall never recreate it, mind don't really want the closing scene

I have to say that I had never heard of Katy Perry until I saw this video. Perhaps I live on a different planet but I must say I find it a bit nauseating that someone can spend millions on something so useless and at the same time place who knows how many tons of pollution into the atmosphere. It is another ostentatious display of wealth, together with the virtual shutting down of Venice for his marriage in June. All this whilst his employees work for terrible conditions and pay. Personally it is making me think more and more about reducing my purchases on Amazon and buying more from local sources even if it is not always so convenient. I guess this comment doesn't really belong in the humour thread. There is not very much humorous about it at all, except perhaps for Bush Barbie.

The book explains the cars, either mock ups or cars retrieved from scrap merchants, so already wrecks
