A GEG run out to Coldham Hall near Norwich. 145 miles or so there and back. A great pub with atunnig views of the River Yare & great home made pies.

Took Rachel down to MMC for a couple of checks plus one or two minor modifications. Had a good look at the Supersport (there were three there), but although there are features I really like, such as the doors fitting directly to the CXV chassis, I prefer the look of the Plus Six.

5 of the GEG met at the Fox Pakenham for lunch & great driving. It was really warm so no side screens.

As we had all seen the Supersports at KH thre was a discussion on the good & bad bits of it vs a plus six.

Out and in the garage, because new garden furniture had to come through! However tomorrow, with expected temperatures around 28!!!!! degrees Celcius, I certainly take it (her) for a spin. I still have no name for my PlusFour.it has a Nitron sticker but that's a bit silly as a name! Adds to the pleasure, though...!!😇

Yesterday we went to Tenby. Monty sat behind us. Glorious weather and traffic light, even Pensarn roundabout at Carmarthen and Tenby itself. A walk through the town, cooling drink in a pub then down to the beach/harbour. Monty had a nice swim. Tide going out. The views across to Caldey were stunning but were were a bit too late to take the boat trip across. Lunch in the Hope & Anchor by the harbour. Ice cream on the way back to the car. Monty enjoyed his dog friendly one.
Returned on the coast route via Saundersfoot, Amroth, Pendine, Laugharne to pick up the A40 at St Clears.

What`s more to want...

I was on end of Caldey yesterday fishing you could have had a lift. When the tide is out they transfer to the slip on the south beach to ferry the passengers back and forth its an all day job. Its sidescreens off here at the moment better than the Med.

Had a summer drive with a Morgan friend to predrive a planned tour in the Limburg hills. He never sat in a CX Morgan, so I did give him the place behind the wheel! He was really impressed. After a sunny tour we ended up at a local beer brewery, live can be good!

I recognised that place instantly - my sister lives in the village! Had a nice pre Christmas lunch in The Crown last year!
