Gosh, I've been lurking here for far too long so wish to introduce myself. I purchased my Plus 4 Sport from Henry Williams in August 2021. It has been a revelation for the happiness it has bestowed. Initially, I couldn't get on with the wood steering wheel so asked Steve Simmonds to make something with matching leather and styled from the 1930s. I thought the standard horn to be "weedy" so fitted a motorbike air horn that could bring down the walls of Jericho. My latest project has been to adapt and fit a Beeline Moto 11 to the dashboard but without drilling holes so everything is reversible. The Beeline looks like (with my added chrome bezel) a standard traditional dashboard clock and displays satnav info via iPhone and speed. The latter is important in 20 MPH London and Wales. This means I can use the tonneau cover that obscures the speedometer.
I'll try to post a picture soon.
I live just outside Presteigne in mid-Wales surrounded by sheep and in Kensington, London. Now, I admit not to being everyone's cup of tea but don't judge me by a Rees-Mogg stereotype. I really am friendly although admit to a liking of 17th Century paintings, horses, English Bull Terriers, tweed, clocks and wristwatches. My long suffering partner who, like most women, rather think I'm a bit bonkers may in actual fact be right? Yet, in the sevens of retirement I get more and more disillusioned with hideous social media bullying by the uninformed and willy-waving of perceived success.
Anyhow, thank you for reading and happy "Morganeering!" - David

Hi David - many people use this site - https://tm-img.com/ - for hosting images, as the picture hosting on this forum is very limited.

Yes indeed - my parents used to breed Welsh Cobs, just 1 or 2 foals a year. At the moment, the paddocks are rented out to a couple of guest horses.

Zaba .... doesn't do to rush into these things! ... you need a thorough recon to ensure the other members aren't closet willy-wavers! (Haven't noticed a lot of that going on so, either we're a grown up bunch or, worryingly, they may be too small to notice!! )😁

Another horse-servant here (though cats are more my thing than dogs) ... clocks (as long as they're old) but haven't worn a watch for 40 years.... Art, most definitely! Though selected for vision rather than era.

Sure you'll find kindred spirits here for your choice of car and passtimes.

Welcome

K

Welcome to TM David.

As has been said in the post above, there are a lot of people who will share your diverse interests, aside for the obvious Morgan one!

Personally, I have a fascination with wristwatches, in particular ones from the 1960s and 70s.
