The cars back with its replacement radiator and it goes well, so happy days. I have had a look around the car and the only thing that has changed is that the bonnet is about 5mm further to the front than it was. The chrome central strip covers all the front brass centre fixing, but the rear central brass fixing is showing about 10mm of space to the chrome strip, plus the rear bulkhead bonnet anti rub strips are now showing a bit. How do I go about repositioning the bonnet 5mm to the rear? to equal the distances of the chrome strip to the bass centre fixings. Is it just a case of undoing both the bonnet sides catchs plus loosening the rear central brass fixing and then gently pushing the bonnet rearward from its front edge. ?? dave

Personally I’d get the dealer to resolve the issue they’ve created!

Ditto. I think they take the cowl off so it obviously didn't go back right

I believe on the Plus Six the wings have to come off as well to change the radiator..?? To be fair the front end is looking much better than it did before ref gaps etc, just needs the bonnet positioning tweaking a little. Its also too far to go, more so if I can do it myself..

As JohnV6 suggested, it’s likely down to the front cowl not replaced in the original position, so thats the way to cure it properly. (if you can get to the fixings of course)

All sorted..the main bonnet hinges per side also do a lot for the front and back location positioning.. every day is a learning curve..
