Hello, I have a 2008 Plus 4 with a vinyl hood. At the back of my vinyl hood I have a rubber seal that sits between the rear of the hood and the painted rear panel of the car. The rubber seal has become unstuck from the bottom of the roof frame. Would anyone be able to recommend an adhesive to solve this? Thank you. Tony

Welcome to TM,
Try some clear UHU which is readily available - but make sure you clean off any old glue and degrease with something like meths spirit

If the old glue is brown you need a neoprene adhesive like Bostick

The problem with European standards is that general public neoprene glue is destroyed by water, avoid gluing in unventilated areas because real neoprene can make you hallucinate, the only place where I managed to find real neoprene is Ali I have just recommended 5 pots because I see that it will soon disappear from their sale. https://urls.fr/1xh44t

Use Dunlop 1358 or equivalent from a car/boat trim supplier.

Hmm
Isn´t Venyl/ Everflex a kind of PVC?
I did not find any glue for PVC and another material that has lasted a long time on the surface of Venyl.

The properties I look for in this situation for glue is waterproof and flexible. I had good results with Unibond eXtreme but this seems to have disappeared from the market. I'm now looking at Gorilla contact adhesive which ticks the boxes.

Exactly and I bet the previous glue was brown like evostick or bostick
