I want to learn the dynamics, get a sense of the limits (the vehicle and my own --the latter no doubt considerable)-- and get back into heel and toeing. My plan is to take it easy on the roads here.

Bill, I understand your perspective on all the points. To be honest, if you enjoyed the Super 3 as a passenger, driving it is only going to improve on that.

Driving tuition, as George and Paul have already said, is going to let you really access the potential of your new Morgan. I spent quite a few years convincing myself that I needed a quicker car; however, soon realised that the driver was the weakest point and the best money spent was on tuition.

As for the road trip idea - circa 1,400 miles, on rural back roads, would have been an adventure but I think you're wise to get it shipped to you and enjoy it locally before embarking on cross country jaunts!

@daveK- It's dated Spring 25, there was a feature in it on Dennis Glavis, the owner of Morgan West, who I'm dealing with here, among other interesting articles.
PS: thanks for the kudos, yeah, it looks cool and seems to go like hell!

Bill, glad to hear your Morgan is nearly here, and sounds like your wait is nearly over. Get to know it this summer, get some additional track time, and then take it for a drive. Great looking Moto-Lita, I put my new wheel on this weekend.

A bunch of us are going up to the Brits in the Ozarks show for two days driving in the Ozarks, and a show and banquet on day three. A lot of fun and those brilliant Ozarks mountain roads really help you learn your car. People from Austin, Waco, DFW; we'll have a caravan. Many of us drive up our cars, some people trailer them. We would love to have you join!

That sounds like a great time. And I think we are around then to make such a trip. Thank you for including me!
I remember being in a 12 cylinder event in the White Mountains in NH when the Morgan Club (or whatever it was) came through en route to Nova Scotia. This had to be back in Sept or early Oct 2000. All of us were entranced with the Morgans, and of course they were characters! Would love to join you. More when wife gets back from one of her jaunts and we can schedule. I don't know how far it is to drive from Texas, but that's my inclination. Of course, I'm a glutton for punishment. smile And Bruce is coming too!!
Thanks!
Bill

That would have been Morgan's Over America the North East - Canada tour.

I have a bunch of accessory mounting and routine maintenance questions. Should I post them here or in the section on repair/maintenance? Some may be peculiar to the Super 3.

For the Super 3, here is fine Bill.

I tend to only move things when they are obviously in the wrong place or I believe the author will get a better response in another section.

Sorry Bill, I didn't explain that well, when I said "here", I should have said "in the Morgan Three Wheeler & Super 3 section"

I've moved your post to a fresh thread here which should help you, and anyone in the future, finding the information you require. thumbs
