Great writeup! Using the ribbed T seal & sponge strip makes for very neat job. Am I right in thinking that the foam strip goes on the rear of the screen and the T seal on the front? Do you have details of where you got these components from? Supplier & part numbers would be great. Thanks

I tried both ways but when ribbed was at back it made the screen sit more upright which I didn't like so much. Also homely the ribbing will give better water tightness. Sorry no part numbers etc, I just got from a Para Rubber shop. They sell all sorts of rubber and plastic stuff.

Great writeup. I was in the area adjusting my steering column and don't recall seeing a "drip shield". I can recall seeing the lower tabs on the windscreen though. Mine is a 2013. I'm curious if Morgan either forgot to install it, or something in the design changed.

Looks like a very neat job especially the seal. I would say that replacing the screen can be a bit of a fiddle but if one is going to all that effort it might be better to replace with a Fairbourne Screen? It has transformed the driving experience in my car. It is now like driving a normal sports car.I think it also improves the look of the car too. They now make a lower screen with a central bracket if you still want some more wind in your face. I would post some pictures but I cant for the life of me work out how to post pictures on this site! Will get round to it someday but in the meantime here's a link to Fairbourne. http://www.fairbournecarriages.com/index...0&Itemid=65 I have been in touch with Fairbourne and may consider going that way sometime. Main hurdle for me will be the cost and freight especially with respect to our poor rate of exchange. (Nzd1 = 40p). May end up at over 500 dollars. My replacements were only 40 dollars for the two. Bloody silicone and stuff cost more!, I would really like to see the Fairbourne in the flesh before shelling out the dosh. The lower version sounds interesting

Mine crazed over the winter and so failed it's Swiss roadworthiness test, just received a replacement and will attempt to follow your (very clear) notes in 2 weeks time (travelling for work until then). Will let you know if it works or if my grey hair goes white....

Will let you know if it works or if my grey hair goes white.... Did mine a few weeks back (albeit for the Fairborne screen). I found the 1mm extra width on the new Lexan made the old screens useless as templates - ended up using just 2 bolts per side. Only mod I did was to stick a rubber weatherstrip to the drip shield under the screens - on the M25 2 yrs ago a torrential downpour and old screen sealant forced water under the screens and the dripshield dumped it onto my hazard switch somehow. Sort of an autowarning - heavy rain = hazards on! Anyway the new sealant / new screen / dripshield mod meant no hazard lights in the last downpour ...
