What an Amazing car. Only three things wrong with. Steering Wheel on the wrong side, wrong location and I can't afford it.

In the early days, they never received much attention or love but it is very different now....

I seem to remember a friend and myself going to Bell & Colvill near Bookham and turning down a red Dino for £2250 or was it £2450 and my friend bought a new Alfa Spyder instead. We both thought the Dino’s suede dash looked a bit worn and tatty. He bought a V12 E type later on……..he had soo much money from selling Wigs By Post (men did not want to be seen going into a salon to buy) .You could buy a normal car for the price of a wig.
His stylist colleague ( wigs need washing and fluffing in a non sex way) earned so much money he bought a DB5 (or 4)………
Those of us who lived through the ‘first’ oil/petrol crisis should have bought E types and exotics then . I stayed with my Morgan .

My friend went on to make his fortune selling rubbish paintings to Americans before becoming one of Americas best car salesman . You went in to buy say, a white car and left with a car whatever the colour they had on the lot . I am more choosy these days about friends .

PS was there some sort of exotic car weekend in France as a Lamborghini, MacL and Ferrari were on our shuttle and there were lots of amateur photographers as we left the port ? Too early for Le Mans? 10 Belgian Porches of mixed models rolled into town yesterday but not seen a Morgan yet.
