Just checking my MSCC calendar in the kitchen to check when Fathers day falls in the UK and I discover there are two 18th's this month?

It's a Morgan Calendar.
They all do that, sir.

It's a spare for when the first one wiggles loose and drops into 2026.

Oh you guys cannot be serious !?
My wife and I owned a print company and I know designers, art workers and proof readers could & did make mistakes but we never did, certainly not on a calendar.
I know printers who having noticed an error of that type & would print knowing that they would likely make just as much profit on a second run and especially if the client was a p.i.t.ass .
We have spotted this mistake but always told the client as it paid dividends in the end with loyalty and it was the professional thing to do.
I just don’t want to believe what you are telling us about a Morgan one…..…MM
PS Did a calendar 3 or 4 years back that my wife would not let me see on press, only when it was wirobound and shrink wrapped ……it was a calendar very similar to the famous WI ‘naked’ one but this was a little more cheeky !

I'm afraid so, and it's not the first time. One year had several errors, including the wrong date for "Thrill on the Hill". Another time we had a November 31st (I put it to one side and haven't used it yet, I'll add the extra Father's Day and see if I can collect a whole week!).

P.S. I trust there were big enough buns?

Enjoy it while you can, reading the last MSCC management minutes, they propose this will be the last hard copy printed one

I hope not it's the only reason I continue my membership, the magazine is rubbish.

Guilty as charged your honours, although we have apologised in Miscellany previously for our inept proof reading skills. crazy2
