I have a set but don't think I will ever install them...is there any interest in these? I know that there were challenges getting the remapping done. Did Morgan ever release the locked information on the ECU?

I was also able to get the 569 cams when they were available. Krazy Horse sells an unlocked S&S ECU with their Stage 2 tune on it that I was also able to order. I think they still have these in stock but they are not cheap. I haven't installed all this on my car quite yet, but I understand the engine runs more smoothly with the 569 cams and tune on it.

No, the unlock code was controlled by S&S and never released.

We cannot unlock the factory ECU on a M3W.

Morgan did offer a factory Stage 2 calibration that ran the 569 cam. The calibration does exist and it can be flashed into the factory ECU without unlocking it but it would remain a locked calibration after loading it.

That calibration belongs to Morgan and is not directly available from S&S. You would have to contact Morgan on that specific calibration.

I believe the unlock code S&S are referring to was actually embedded with the Stage 2 map. The update unlocked the ECU, flashed the Stage 2 map and then relocked the ECU.

If this is wrong and you can get an unlock code out of Morgan then you will become a very popular chap as many of us have spare locked ecus from when we purchased an unlocked or replacement ECU as part of the 569 installation.

Do let us know how you get on with Morgan.
