What a perfect home for your car…!!!
That has the potential to be a calendar shot rather than the usual format….

Perhaps we need a new thread……’your Morgan garage’…..😆

A long awaited GEG visit to the Ace Cafe on the north circular in London had four of us assemble early afternoon at Tesco's in Bury St.Edmunds for the hundred mile trip to London. By chance a fifth member joined us on his new Norton en-route. All went well until hitting the London traffic with some confusion added as the original A406 which the Cafe is sited on has been bypassed. Suffice to say the cooling drinks on arrival were much needed.

A talk was given on the history of the Cafe since it's inception in the 1930's before sitting down for an evening meal. Return journey, initially up the A1 as lane closures were mentioned on the M25, was the usial slow crawl but traffic eventually thinned out and we were home before 9pm. Many thanks to Chris (The Morganeer) for organising.

Took the MINI to Scotland last week, with a group of fellow Morgan owners. It proved to be a token Mog by slight leak into boot in heavy rain. Here at Todd Head Lighthouse a little north of Montrose.

Not far south of me Graham (well by rural standards anyway, 60 miles or so) ... If I'd known I would have popped down to say hello! 😀

The forecast was good for today in this little corner of Scotland so we took a trip to see around Braemar castle.

We were just about to leave the car park when this couple parked alongside. Thomas ( spell check required) and his good lady from Germany are holidaying in Scotland for three weeks. We were the first UK registered mog they'd seen since arriving here.

After a good Morgan natter we headed up to the Linn O Dee and had lunch beside the river. A favourite picnic spot of queen Victoria so I believe.

And I echo the sentiments of K Graham, we could have had a right Mog meeting if only we'd known you were in the area.😁

Sorry Keith and Gordon, I should have put a comment up here, but travelling with a group of pals (all three are members here) we were set on breakfast decisions as to "where do we go today". Todd Hills was me solo after causing grief to leg muscles following a visit to Dunnotar Castle - with current medical issues I was suffering a bit! I'm hoping to be able to do another trip later in the year. Will advise in a new thread should that go ahead. smile
I still want to visit the Light House museum.

No worries Graham, hopefully you're on the mend now? The lighthouse museum (in Fraserburgh ?) is also on my to do list.
