My Super3 had an odd assortment of accessories- the person who ordered it spend close to 10 grand on the lights- I've got both sets, outrigger and inset as LEDs. But some things I feel are necessary and I've asked Dennis (really his amanunensis, Grace, who is terrific) to order a bunch of things, including a tonneau, the locking storage, a usb port and if possible, the steering column bracket for a Beeline Moto II (I have the Beeline, with the charging port to be hardwired but need a bracket; yeah, I can probably have one fabricated but it would be far easier to get Morgan to supply). What's strange is that the manual shows a rear view mirror that fits the accessory rail on the wind deflectors but apparently, Morgan does not offer this.
I'm also going to get the a protective film coating done- the paint is a matt gray which is no longer offered. I like the look of it but it is not as robust as normal paint.
Did I mention that this thing is a blast to drive? It's as direct and visceral as anything I've ever driven, which includes a bunch of supercars and a pre-war car, among others.
Love the quirkiness of the Morgan but even getting the proper fluids for oil and coolant are a bit of a pain.

Engine fluids are generic. As long as the spec matches those recommended you will be fine. It's just a Ford engine after all.

@RichardV6- Thanks, I asked Dennis Glavis to ask his mechanic and also called Ford who could not help on the fluids. But will also check with my local auto supply shop.

From the Super3 Manual:

Suitable Engine Oil Grade

Engine oils with the following oil specification
can be used to top up if required:

SAE 5W-20 engine oil of the highest possible
quality. Specification WSS-M2C948-B.

If you are unable to find an engine oil that
meets the specification, you can top-up with
a SAE 5W-20 engine oil that is defined by
ACEA A5/B5

Is the 1.5 3cyl in the Super3 a wet belt engine? If so you probably want the Ford spec oil... which should be similar to Fiestas etc in the USA.

Yep got the right spec for the oil. The MorganWest mechanic said do not mess with the coolant or top it off-- it should last for years and then, fully drain and replace. My concern was the Texas heat. Got most of the accessories ordered, some en route. Hope to have everything installed in the next couple weeks, along with a protective film for the matt finish paint job--first time I've owned a vehicle with this type of paint.

I think that although the earlier ecoboost/ Dragon engines were wet timing belts, the design was changed to chain in about 2018, after Ford saw the error of their ways. So I am assuming that all Morgan S3s are chain.
BUT, I also understand that the oil pump is wet belt on all of these engines so regular oil changes with the right stuff are essential, otherwise the internal gauze filters can become clogged with bits of belt!

Alrighty, I got the Motul oil as specified for the vehicle, holding off on the coolant, which I'm told I should not top off or mess with. As to other "accessories" here's what's on the plate:
Morgan Beeline Nav bracket for Moto II with hardwire- this has a charger integrated into the mounting hardware, so no need to separately charge the Moto II, though I want it wired through the ignition so it isn't drawing power. I can remove the head unit of the Moto II with a twist and secure it so it doesn't get stolen when parked.
USB port- have it- the question is whether there is a separate option for a precut template for the buttons on that panel. I'm not planning on heat or seat heaters but can use some dummy buttons-- rocket launcher, bomb release, etc. for the dummy switches. (I guess I could have one marked "dummy" too). Work in progress- need to verify part with dealer.
I'm having a ferrous steel strip mounted on that panel so I can attach a phone using a small magnetic holder that adjusts for size- very inconspicuous- meant for motorcycles- the Morgan phone holder looks like a medieval torture instrument and is far too cumbersome in my estimation.
Since the paint finish on the hood and boot are a matter of gray, I'm having a protective film and ceramic coating done.
I've inquired about the soft pannier bags and necessary accessory rails to mount them. I prefer that to rear mounting luggage-- also seems more practical- you can actually reach the thermos holder on the bags from the cockpit.
I already ordered the tonneau and the underseat storage locker. I think that's it for now!

Making headway on the accessories. The guys at Petrol Lounge are finishing the paint protection- we have figured out a scheme for mounting the USB port to the passenger side of the "cabinet" below the dash in front of the center console and using a longer cable from the usb to the phone- which will "pair" with the Moto II-- I bought the bracket to mount the Moto on the steering wheel column, and added the charging plate from Beeline as well so the Moto II will not have to be removed from the mount to charge (but will be removed for security reasons). The lockbox for underseat storage came in, along with the tonneau, as well as the soft panniers. I also scored a nice set of vintage Smiths rally timers- an 8 day clock and stop watch. Also learned more about the electrical system and CANbus. More as it happens....
