What's your thoughts - second hand M3W with SnS and all faults corrected or new Pembleton?
I note mention of replies from SnS on this forum. I was under the impression that they were no longer in business. Could you please advise current position regarding spares etc.?

It's just the X-Wedge engine that has ceased production (and I believe the 'designs' have gone to a Chinese company who have converted it to metric spec). S&S are still supplying the Harley market.

Context, context... In the UK, remote from either for specialist spares/repairs, and if not bothered by milder engines and FWD, and maybe the looks... Pembleton. AFAIK there is no big issue on spare cambelts etc for S&S, and Phil B has a stock of engines...

The Guzzi engines Pembleton and previously Triking used are pretty unbustable if smaller in capacity. Having said that the raw torque of the S & S X wedge is visceral.

I'd consider a Triking - well respected/proven design and, unlike the M3W, pretty much trouble-free from day 1.
The legendary Guzzi engine is another benefit.

After two test drives yesterday I'm buying a Pembleton. The ride was superb and great fun. The only downside I could find was a tendency to under-steer typical of high powered front wheel drive. Once I got the seating position right I could get it to do my wishes. No shortage of power even if torque not in the SnS class but the engineering is superb. I'm going for the 850 version which has a power to weight ratio roughly the same as my 2004 Roadster i.e. 265 bhp. Now if I can only loose some weight
