I’m planning on placing an order this month for a Plus Four. I’ve decided on my list of options except for:-
Manual / Auto Paint colour Interior (dependant on paint colour) Biscuit or Tan.
I don’t see many of these around to see in the flesh but I’m considering:- Sport black Metallic white gold Stingray grey Edelweiss green
Would appreciate thoughts on the above colours from those that have seen them in the wild.

Good luck with your order. You may get better response by posting in the relevant model section. Plus there is at least one thread on this forum showing colours - I think in the pre_CX section, they've been around a lot longer

Edelweiss green for me. I think it looks fantastic but…. It’s your car and you need to choose what you like not what the rest of us think

Everyone has their own favourite colour and you have to decide yourself -- although I don't think I've seen a Morgan with a bad colour -- even the mad orange looks good. I went for Etna Blue, which is the colour used in their 2025 CX marketing campaign. It's an old Porsche colour from the 1960s and I thought it matched the old-but-contemporary look of a Morgan. For others, (British Racing) Green is the only choice because it is old-and-traditional.
I would be concerned that the very light (biscuit) seats might get dirty, as you will presumably be driving with the roof off 99% of the time and a lot of muck gets blown in. On the other hand, a lighter interior does brighten up the car.
I chose Auto. Again, this is a personal choice - many Morgan owners would be horrified at the notion of Auto. In my view the BMW gearbox does a far better job than i can -- gear changes are 95% accurate and very fast - and without gear changing, there is more time for me to just enjoy the ride.
Did you spec air conditioning and the Sennheiser system - again some Morgan owners wouldn't have either, but we have used the air conditioning a lot in the last few days (30 degrees!) and both these options are good on those occasions when you get stuck in a traffic jam. However the sound is pretty inaudible once you drive hard.
Also the Nitron suspension - this is excellent and some people would put this top of their list..

11 years ago we chose a dark red colour paint ( Garnet Red ) and Magnolia upholstery. It is easy to keep clean and Mrs F likes the fact that her clothes stay clean when the car looks clean.
However, it is a very personal choice. Go with what makes you feel good.

Metallic white gold looks good in the flesh. I think Williams had an Edelweiss Green P4 with minilite wheels which looked fantastic. I wouldn't personally buy new, bargains to be had on the nearly new shelf. This is one of them Alligator Green

If you are ordering new, the only limit to the colour is your imagination.
Personally, I'd think of cars that stand out to you as personal favourites and consider what colour tones they were in.
Some personal thoughts that I have mulled over when ordered a factory Morgan:
There is a reason so many concept cars used to be a tone of silver or metallic grey - it shows of the lines of a vehicle better than any other colour. Lighter, metallic, colours really do accentuate the iconic shape of a Morgan.
Darker colours have their own appeal, often feeling more 'retro', period or heritage (however you choose to describe it!) and no metallic adds to this even further. When paired with a mid-tone interior, for instance, saddle brown, this feeling of heritage and continuance is only enhanced.
Lighter metallic colours also work well; often for similar reasons to why silver helps to show off the lines. My first Morgan was ordered in a Bentley colour called Silverlake Blue, paired with Prussian Blue (dark navy) leather and light wood. To my eyes, it looked superb.
There in lies one of the best parts of ordering a new Morgan, there really is no wrong answer and it boils down to personal taste and preference!

Colour? Comments above cover that. Auto/manual? I test drove both but got an auto. I was originally a manual fan but having the auto with the option to use paddles was the winner. I drive mainly in auto but do go manual for a change. The 8 speed gearbox is excellent and the car reacts well. 15k miles of mixed long hauls and short drives in just under 2 years and no regrets. The car is more comfortable than the trad Plus8 so long trips are better. My advice is test both versions.
