Well, as Clemens co-driver, I will keep an eye on him!!! I think it's going to be great fun. On our way back, Clemens and I recollect my PlusFour at Louwman where some minor issues are sorted during our stay in Malvern, and Clemens can experience the Nitron dampers which were fitted in January on my PlusFour by Louwman in The Netherlands as their first Nitron experience. And with succes! They already did some conversions afterwards. We swap cars from Utrecht to Limburg on our way back! Looking forward to our adventure!!

When you get here don't be fooled into thinking that the current weather is 'normal' for a British summer time....... it would usually be drizzling..............!!!!

Day 1
Drive to Cologne via the Black Forest in beautiful weather. Then via the A5 and A3 to the Dohm city.

2. Day
Fahrer and Son day … was a very nice stay in Cologne

3. Day
Early morning drive from Cologne to Sittart to Ruut.
We say hello, it's the first time we've met in person. Until now we've only known each other through TM.
After that, it's straight on to a ride with the MSCCH. We start at an old train station in Simpelfeld. Here we first have coffee and cake. Then the tour starts over 62 beautiful kilometers through a hilly landscape. I didn't know that there were such things as small mountains in Holland. The tour ends at the Alfa brewery in Thull. We have lunch there and then a guided tour of the brewery. After a great dinner in Ruut's garden, the day comes to an end.

No... we don't drive on the right side of the road, nor do we drive on the wrong side of the road....... we drive on the left side of the road!

Day 4
Short sightseeing tour of Sittart. Then we travelled from the south of the Netherlands to Hoek van Holland, near Rotterdam. Because it had to be quick, the whole route was via the motorway. The whole group of 6 people, 5 of them from the MSCCH, who are taking part in the trip to Malvern, meet up for the first time on the approach to the ferry. Then it's onto the ferry overnight to Harwich.

Day 5
Ride from Harwig to the Cottage of the Wood in Malvern on the correct side of the road. Great ride on small roads. First stop at the Orchard Tea Garden in Grandchester near Cambridge, then lunch break in Silverstone. I now know, although I had previously disagreed, that the roads in Germany are in very good condition. At least compared to the UK.
In the evening we had dinner with Math Hole. Bert organized this in his function as president of the MSCCH. It was a very entertaining and informative meeting.
