Excellent I see that Leon Haslam has broken his leg in practising at Phillip Island. Mind you, he'll have the very lovely Olivia to look after him while he is recovering.

BMW sidecar combos always put me in mind of one of my favourite Shobba cartoons in Bike magazine. Two british despatch riders hiding under a bridge while two german soldiers with a combination look over the parapet. One Tommy is saying to the other " What the hell did you wave for ? BMW riders are all unfriendly b*****ds".
Lovely video mind you.

Great bikes, I have had 3, R90, R100RS & K100. I still prefer the twins. The K100 was fast and smooth but not so much fun. David

R100RS, R80 and R80GS for me.....all sold to make space for my Morgan. I still keep a modern BMW though...R1200GS and that had to have a bespoke little garage built for it before the Morgan arrived!

R65 (VFH366X), which replaced my '78 Bonnie T140V (CRW239T). Some 2 years later approx an R100RT (A684HAC), which I think is still local. Wouldn't mind an early'ish R80GS... But as I haven't ridden a bike for over 2 years (and can't, at present, get into my leathers... ) I have a feeling there'll be no more 2 wheelers in my garage, particularly when I watch the antics of motoring commuters... Cheers,
Graham (G4FUJ)

I had a K100RS which I rode all over Europe and untimately flogged to raise the cash for the 4/4. Fast forward 10 years to the Creek at Peel during the Manx GP and there it was parked on the street. A real hair-up on the back of the neck moment.
