I think the "extension pipe" would be the best solution

Hi Em, will check our Plus Six tomorrow as its early 2020 also, it's presently cooling down after a 4 hr drive in 33 deg heat top down. We are going to Millau tomorrow to cross and check out the bridge, so another 3.5 hr hot drive. Can't complain though.

Dave
If you get the chance look at the Millau bridge from the small road at the bottom.
Very impressive when you look up whilst standing next to one of the pillars.
Enjoy,

We are staying in the Chateau at Creissels for 2 days, so will certainly check out the view from the valley road, also intend to check out the Tarn valley roads. I will post up the journey when we get back to the UK.

Super place to stay - envious. I hope they still do the lamb tasting menu - it was rather splendid when we stayed there a few years ago (24th June 2017 - I just checked).

Blimey ! That's bloody poor detailing on MMC's part, piece of flexi pipe extension is the best solution

I'd also pull apart the connector and check internal pins for corrosion & add a lick of Contralube before pushing back together - prevention better than cure as they say

Jon
the danger is a pipe lets the water fall on the exhaust & turbo. I think I can divert it to the edge of the bonnet but the pipe I have is from a garden water butt so I worry about the plastic melting.
As it is it directs hot air directly into the ventilation system.
