The green agenda should be driving the size of vehicles down, not up.

In the days of steam, they used "Photographic Grey" (with black) to bring out the details. Quite honestly, that combo above, which is so common and "fashionable" right now just looks like it needs a topcoat.

K, I have to admit that my good lady really enjoyed ownership of her Evoque, for a number of years, thus I can see the attraction of this style of vehicle, but just to the mix even Lambo are playing the same game with the Anu.... err...sorry, Urus... Shrug..!

Lotus, or their oriental owners seemed to want to make a proper grown up motor car brand out of a low volume, niche british sportscar manufacturer.
If/when it all goes wrong or they mess it up completely, they'll probably just asset strip it, sell the site and walk away......🤷🏻‍♂️

I wonder if there are any similarities with other british sports car brands........................................................................!🤬

I was with my family last weekend when we came across a Lotus SUV in a car park in Haworth. We all agreed it was ugly, but nevertheless had some sympathy for the owner who had clearly suffered a nasty scrape - the whole side was caved in, and there was a gaping gap behind the front wheel arch. It was only when my son ventured around the thing that we discovered that the other side was the same. shocked2 sick

I read Clippers post last night with a tinge of sadness for what may become reality for another British marque

Then a couple of hours later, (honest !) mobile pings with some recruitment agency "exciting opportunity at Lotus Cars, Hethel" Production Director - Lotus UK Manufacturing doh

Now curiously (as in, I have no automotive experience, and am long since retired), I have visited China on numerous occasions on business and if I got the job I wouldn't mind and could relate to a city such as Chongqing, which at almost 32m population is now bigger than Beijing or Shanghai, and almost 4x the population of London
scared
