I noticed that my coolant was down and there were drips below one of the small bore pipes where they enter the top of the expansion tank. The pipe was cracked in a number of places and the pipe was rock hard. The pipe was marked as Semperit tu 25 so Googling it (for a replacement) it turns out Morgan had used fuel line not coolant line, the temperature range being -40c----- +80c which is obviously not suitable, I have now ordered coolant pipe -40c-----120c. My car is 2013 I would suggest others with a similar vintage check their coolant pipes as there is a danger of the pipe failing completely.

My 2005 car had the same issue. The pipe failed at the other end. Yet another call out for Morgan Rescue.

WOW 2005. I think everybody should be checking then, Semperit tu 25 is visibly stamped on the pipe.

The pipe on my 14 year old plus 4 with 55k miles is still like new.
It is stamped NBR/CR amongst other numbers etc.
NBR is Nitrile Butadiene Rubber which is good for up to 120 degrees.
CR is Chloroprene Rubber (neoprene) which is good for up to 140 degrees.
So the hose is a blend of the two with NBR giving resistance to oil, fuel, abrasion and high temps.
The CR adds resistance to weather, ozone and temperature stability.
