A stock Plus Six has got around 350bhp per tonne, hasn't it? That's Lamborghini Gallardo or Porker 911 GT3 territory. I'm not terribly convinced further tuning would be absolutely necessary, but hey, I've been proven wrong before! grin2

Thanks John, interesting car. It also has no sound system.

Spoken to Morgan, its overseas been in showroom not used in any way. Also have another Plus 4 and Plus 6 they are seeing if any interest in. Put my name down on it, waiting to hear back on way forward early next week. Maybe a few months before shipped back to UK.

Can anyone post a direct weblink please, as the previous link returns a 404 error. Thanks.

They have taken them down from Morgan site.......the Plus 6 they have had a lot of interest in. The other Plus 4 is a two tone well specc'd car.

I would probably go for a P4, I test drove an early launch model P6 and it didn't really gel with me, coming from a tweaked 3.7 Roadster...I think the laptop would have to be plumbed into a P4 grin2

I moved to an MY23 Plus Four auto from a 2002 Plus 8. The only regret is no V8 sound! That could be cured by exhaust valve systems that are being developed. I tried a car used to develope one last year.
Done 15k miles in two years and it has been superb. One warrany fix for dash gauge failure that was a quick fix, only 4 days. Morgan free recovery to dealer, diagnosed next day, part ( new pcb) from factory to dealer next day, car picked up day 4. Tuesday to Friday. Train to station minutes from dealer who picked me up. Nice drive home.
Car performs really well. Plenty of power over a wide rev range. Auto or paddle/stick gearchange. 45+mpgwithout trying ( 50+ if pootling about). Comfort excellent. Do I need the extra bhp of a P6? No. P4 has plenty.

I've tried to follow the postings of former trad to CX members like yourself more closely, as opposed to new to Morgan CX owners to get a greater sense of their experiences and journey.in the transition from a trad. And in the main they are very reassuring, despite some of the set backs, I don't see many looking to jump back into a trad.

The plus four is a nice Mog and to be honest most of the time if were honest has more than enough power, However for not much more money second hand in the plus 6 you have two cars a plus four most of the time or supercar performance some of the time. It's worth having a test drive just to make sure the itch is scratched. I personally like the stance on the six and its been dry for two days of course you can use it as a daily no water ingress whatsoever.........
