Welcome to TM Adam, you made a good choice of selecting TM as the first tool in your kit... (-: If I might suggest you beam up gomog.com as a web site source of ll things Morgan. I have no knowledge of 2016 Morgans, but if they still have grease nipples on the suspension etc, then Johns suggestion of buying a grease gun is perhaps the next most important tool in the box... following that perhaps a tyre pressure gague.. The list can be endless dependant on your own abilities and intentions...
K`s suggestion of buying pre owned tools is the way to go, eBay is your friend, if there may be no specialist pre owned tool dealers in your area or who might have stalls at car shows.
I have a Wanner grease gun which I have owned for circa 50 years, and which is regularly in use greasing my Mog`s suspension, I wish I had a couple of grease nipples on my knees..(-:
Best of luck in your choices Adam.

Oh cracking advise here Adam!
I agree with the advance socket sets from Halfords, They are pretty good quality and yep they change them if you bust them, I bust a 3/8" drive 7mm hex socket and took it in.... no problem sir! The price is good when you consider what you are getting and they can't help having sales from time to time. For spanners and lots more, from experience I can recommend blue spot tools, beautifully finished and I have abused some of them way past what they should have tolerated! I still can't believe cost against quality!
Look on the Bay as suggested and you will find quality old tools in sets and more, Those old tools were only made as best quality and you can furnish yourself with a toolkit that money would struggle to buy nowadays. Snap-on are good but you're paying for the lifetime warranty and yes they do break! Grease gun.... yes a Wanner! Swiss made and by far the best.. Again look on the bay and £25-30 should get you a good-un! pain in the bum to manually fill but use a tea spoon and it goes quite well. For a hand held it produces a huge pressure, try and get one with a flexi coupling as well, makes top pillar greasing much easier.
For your 22 psi ......I have an air line but I also have a good quality brass barrelled foot pump, I bought it in 1979 and the cost frightened me a bit but its still doing sterling service although a bit like Trigger's broom its had a couple if hoses and shraeder valve connectors. My son is 23 and he's had a couple of my old cheapies and a couple he's bought and a freebie when we joined him in the RAC.... none have lasted long!
Oh. and one last thing. When your searching the Bay get a 2BA spanner as well, you'll need it sooner than you think!

Just to add to your growing list. Grease guns have been mentioned several times, I have found that a grease gun Locking Coupler is an absolute god send when greasing the suspension on my 2016 Plus 4. They are cheap as chips on eBay. on ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2025/07/11/IMG_0419.th.jpeg)

All good advice so far. To add to the list of reasonable quality tools, I'm a bit fan of Teng Tools stuff, and I also have a set of Halfords combination spanners with a ratcheting ring which I find extremely useful. A reasonable torque wrench is good to have. Not needed very often, but when it is, it's invaluable.

Welcome to TM.
Agree with the above. Halfords Advanced tool set is the way to go. Probably not available in Sweden, but everything is online. Just make sure it's the real deal. Also Antique markets and car boot sales for good tools. i'm still using my Late Dad grease gun, with must be 60 years old!

With a lot screws turned in my life, I‘ve got a lot of tools. And in the last I worked „half professional“ in a cyclestore. You‘ll get a feel about a tool is good or not. And for my 2018 Plus4: the most stuff is metric, but yes, there is also some imperial. To cover both worlds I had a lot of tools in cause I‘ve got old MINIs but for some tools more I use „LOUIS“ and „POLO“, both bikeshops, but as I know they ship worldwide. Especially LOUIS has some good toolkits for only a few EUROs. There I can report about good tools from „Rothewald“. Something like this: https://www.louis.de/artikel/rothew.../10091820?filter_article_number=10091820And as I actually realized: you can learn a lot owning a MOG ;-) Greets René

If you might be in the market for something a bit better than Britool or SnapOn, there is a rather special kit available via the link below...(-: https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/mclaren-f1-tools

Weirdly, the male element of the wrenches seem to be in inches (3/4 and 3/8), whilst all of the attachments (at least, the "business ends" that go on to nuts and bolts) are metric, but that seems to be how these things are for some reason. Will now try to get my hands on an inches-to-inches (is that SAE? Imperial? a bit confusing) set.
