Thought I'd post here rather than For Sale/Wanted as there's room for discussion. As my Mog is transitioning to 'RatMog' I fancy doing a new dash - my current dash is old and tatty and needs a freshen up, but I'm not a big fan of the bling walnut style, I'm thinking something like Keith's dash, but in brushed/satin aluminium. So, ideally I'd like another dash that I can either use as a template, of just put an ally cover over so I can then take out the old and put in the new without too much time off the road. Does anyone have anything lying around orleft behind after an upgrade? Current dash is like this (not mine) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2025/07/14/Dash.md.jpg) Also, am I right in thinking that it is just held on with those screws in the bottom left and right corners?

Phil ... I have this one left over from my ali dash swap .... just cluttering up my workshop loft so you're welcome to it if it's any use ... let me know and I'll find a way of packing it up 🙂 Mine just seems to have the two screw fixing points. K Ps ... it has a few old scrutineers labels on it but they'll come off easy enough if you need ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2025/07/14/20250714_121421.jpg)

That would be absolutely perfect! Thank you.
Let me know how much postage is and I'll bank transfer - I'll send address details via PM.

You could use a vinyl wrap - I suspect there are a multitude of options that would get close to the look you are looking for.

Paul ... he's a biker ... more likely to use 1/4" steel plate ... then paint it with aluminium paint to make it lighter!! 😆

I'd investigate hydro-dipping to cover the dash

After discussion with the boss, going to go for similar to Keith - use his as a template and then make one out of plywood with a brushed ally skin. Change the black plastic switches for toggles, and stick a stereo in the space where the glovebox was....
Watch this space......
