The one on the left looks like a 33 ford, the one on the right has what looks like a 32 ford grille but the body doesn't look right..........
I've always liked hot rods, sadly I'm not clever enough to build one........😆 I'll have to make do with a Morgan................!

This is a 2-year-old, US$70,000 vehicle that has 105 miles on it
Best bid was US$42,000
Sets a new standard in Morgan depreciation......

Was a dealer sale, says 'bid to' so I assume they didn't actually sell (at such a loss)

The vehicle has now been sold by negotiation after the auction close where BaT "may" have thrown in some of their commission
The US$44,500 is still a very sad result

I will do some research on the Sales history

Watching a Netflix TV series called Department Q about a UK police detective set in the present who has been given a pool car to run about in.

The pool car is a C reg (circa 1985) Ford Sierra. How many police departments have classic cars in the car park?

Would be like Bodie and Doyle running about in a 1938 MG TA or Jag SS if they were lucky.

If you use common sense, the $42,000 would have been a much more realistic price for a new vehicle than the inflated $70,000. In this respect, it is no wonder that there is such a strong correction.

But it does not take too much to spec these up close to the US$70,000 range as was the case with this one.......
