Dave. Cant see it in my hanbook just been on Kwik fit with the reg for re gas and it comes up unknown.

Most cars post 2015 use the more environmentally friendly R-1234yf refrigerant gas including all BMW's. Worth double checking though, our 65 plate Mini still used the earlier R134a.

Bit naughty of MMC, it's a statutory requirement to have a label stating refrigerant used and charge capacity located under bonnet near pipeline charge point

Our 2020 tin top run out model has the old gas still none the wiser on the mog or the amount it takes which is critical. A phone call to the service dept is the way to go.

Decided to email MMC concerning the A/C.
Received a very nice prompt reply from MMC to this question:
" Yes it is normal for the A/C not to blow continuous cold air through as it will reach 5 degrees and will turn off until it reaches 12 degrees and activate again."
I expect here in Florida , A/C is working overtime because of our sizzling humid weather. 33' C today.
